ModernArtifact is a collection of handcrafted, one of a kind art pieces based in craft and culture. Each year we take on a new concept and weave it into the story of Modern Artifact. Modern Artifact collections are grounded in culture and history, and use design to create special pieces for your space. It is an amalgamation of the artist's background: African, American, actor, Oklahoman, craftsman, Italian, artisan, director, Southerner, writer, stylist, Midwesterner, all with a little New York swagger.
Join me the last Sunday of November for a special Sunday Emporium at Rejuvenation. This is the last one of the year and Modern Artifact plans out going out with some brand new vessels and holiday inspired pieces.

Modern Artifact will be taking part this month in the Sunday Emporium on August 30th. This happens to be my partner's birthday, so please come by and make the event worthwhile for me to postpone birthday celebration activities! I would love to see you. Expect handwoven and hand-dyed baskets, hand-built vessels resembling natural landscapes and architecture, as well as new wall hanging pieces for your home.The hook for this month's event will be a focus on the NW Modern architectural movement (30s-50s). There will be an early look at Rejuvenation's new product line based on NW Modern, and we will also have Randy Gragg from the Yeon Foundation speaking upstairs.
